Mountain Dream offers a program of competitive spring, summer, and fall tournament softball for players in the San Lorenzo Valley Girls Softball League. Mountain Dream strives to improve the overall quality of girls softball in San Lorenzo Valley through competition in travel team tournaments. Our athletes play against the best and bring that experience back to the league.

We are a USA Softball Junior Olympic organization.
Our competitive teams can vary in experience and are classified according to USA Softball classification criteria. We currently offer all levels of play. We normally offer class A, the highest level of play, in the fall. Our class B teams can form anytime after the 1st of the year and are currently selected by the manager/coach. Our class C teams cannot form before the last Saturday in April and are required to hold tryouts.
Don’t forget that softball is came back to the Olympics in 2020 and USA Softball is the organization that forms the Olympic Team! Our players can be proud to wear the USA Softball patch on their jerseys.
Tournaments are generally on the weekends and usually consist of 3 “Pool Play” games on Saturday and then single elimination games on Sunday. That is, on Sunday, you play until you lose (or win the tournament!). Tournament and practice schedules are set by the team manager.
The summer season lasts from May 1st to July 31st but usually ends when the teams play their last tournament which could be much earlier. Summer costs are usually between $375 and $475 per player. The bulk of the fees go to pay for tournaments, uniforms, and equipment. We try to get 3-4 tournaments for 8U, 4-5 tournaments for 10U, and 5-6 for 12U and 14U. Player fees are per age group and depend on the number of tournaments scheduled for that age group as well as the number of players on a particular team.
The fall season starts September 1st and lasts through October.
