Highlighted Moment: Alia Rolen

Alia got a great hit on Saturday for the 12u team in their second game. She hit it all the way to the outfield cones making it a ground rule double although she could have made it all the way home.

Great shot Alia

Highlighted Moment: Elizabeth and her happy place

This submission is on behalf of a dear friend and softball parent. This woman had an amazing week and the  pinnacle was a trip to the county fair which is where she realized the utmost fulfillment of her heart.

The satisfaction she realized by being able to provide  structure, organization and the assurance,  that the left over food she offers up to her loved ones will now be properly stored, was overwhelming and without a doubt worthy of your consideration.

Highlighted Moment: Jennifer Lang

We have been focusing on the little details of the game, lots of baserunning drills, ways to get a slight edge, how to manufacture runs etc.

This is a picture  of a hitting demonstration. I love the way it captures the beauty of our area. This moment was the highlight of my week.

Thanks Jennifer Lang for the great work with the girls!

Highlighted Moment: John Eagle

John stepped in to be one of the umpires at the 12U super friendly on Saturday 22nd September. He umpired for one of the Mountain Dream team games. He was so fair, you would never have known he had 2 daughters on the team (must have been hard calling strikes against them).

John made great calls, was all over the field so he didn’t miss anything. He did a great job.

Thank you John.

Alan Renouf

Alan is awesome! He has really knocked it out of the park with the new website and interesting added content such as drone footage and now this recognition page.  He worked regularly to update the site and keep information at everyone’s fingertips. As well, he always jumps in to help on the field and is a dedicated nappy changer. And he does it with a smile on his face always!!! Huge THANK YOU to Alan for being a wonderful parent donating a lot of time to our league!! We will miss you, thank you for all you have done.

Highlighted Moment: 8U Mountain Dream 2nd inning defense vs Slammers

A new highlight from our awesome girls was our Sunday tournament defense in inning 2 vs the West Valley Slammers in Napa.

We had a first time pitcher on the mound, Audrey Jouglet, who threw some great strikes…. her defense backed her up beautifully and we quickly got out of the inning with 3 up, 3 down.

A great inning for this young team!

There are many more to come!

Highlighted Moment: Makena Santos

Congratulations Makena Santos for being our first highlighted moment submission.

In this weekends tournament Makena hit a should-have-been-HOME-RUN but was called a dead ball due to it hitting the outfield fence.

Amazing hit Makena!!!!
