Mountain Dream 2014
After a fun and successful 2014 we’re going to start looking ahead to 2015. Some of the highlights from 2014 include a 3rd place Gold finish for the 12U team at the Watsonville Strawberry Jam. Our 8U and 10U teams also finished the season strong receiving trophies and medals at the same tournament.
The 10U Fall Ball team lost 6-5 in a close semi final game at the Alexis Briski Memorial tournament. They also won their first game against an “A” ball club in Sunday Championship play at the Salinas Harvest Hoe Down. Our 12U team had a great time at the 3rd Annual Monica Abbott Classic in Salinas. They presented Monica with Mt. Dream team jersey and had a chance to spend some quality time with her.
As we look ahead to 2015, we have the opportunity to bring back a very strong 12U team with regional championship dreams. Remember, you’ll need to meet the SLVGS recreational player requirements to play on the Mt. Dream teams in 2015.
